One policeman killed in Kashmir's Kulgam district

In Jammu & Kashmir, two persons, one of them a police man, were killed and two others were injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire in Czeansur village of south Kashmir's Kulgam district late Friday evening. Sources said the local



police Constable, Manzoor Ahmad, was purchasing some groceries at a village shop when the gunmen, riding a bike, fired at him and he died on the spot. A civilian, Farooq Ahmad Dar, also died on spot. Two other civilians were injured in the shootout whose condition is stated to be stable at local hospital. No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
