One terrorist killed in encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Reasi district

In the Reasi district of Jammu Division, one terrorist was shot dead in an encounter with security forces. In the encounter one police personnel also sustained injuries.

According to Addl. Director General of Police, Mukesh Singh, based on the Police input regarding the presence of two terrorists, in Gali Sohab in the Tuli



area of Chassana, the Army and Police cordoned off the area and started search operations. 

However, the hiding terrorists opened fire, which was returned by the troops. In the gunfight, one terrorist was killed.
