Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw yesterday hit out at the opposition saying that the kind of words used by them against Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a matter of grave concern. Talking to media, Mr Vaishnaw said that the choice of words is very important in public life. He added that the opposition should refrain from using unparliamentary words and maintain dignity in political life.

Earlier BJP Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi also said that using unparliamentary words for short-term political gains by some political parties is unfortunate.

Briefing media in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Trivedi alleged that the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi used derogatory words for Prime Minister Narendra Modi several times. He urged the Congress party to come out of the toxication of failure and behave wisely.
