New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that more than two crore people have benefited from the Ayushman Bharat Yojana so far. Welcoming the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday, the Union Education Minister said, as an inclusive model, it will help address the health concerns especially of the poor and the middle class.
Mr. Pradhan said that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will further strengthen the health services in the country.
It will also help health services become more accessible through technology. The Union Minister said that this initiative will not only boost efficiency implementation and transparency in providing health services to the people but also will save them from slipping into financial distress.
Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Government of India have been strengthening the network of health services in rural areas of the country, the Minister added.
