In Gujarat, over 45 dams in the state are overflowing and have been put on high alert. Sardar Sarovar Dam largest dam in the state has reached 60 percent of its storage capacity. region.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains in some parts of the state, especially in the South Gujarat region including Surat Navsari Valsad and Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli on Thursday and light rains in all parts of the state for the next two days.
