Over 500 kg cocaine recovered from Gujarat

In line with the Central government’s policy of Zero Tolerance against Drugs and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Special Cell of Delhi Police and Gujarat Police have seized 518 kilogram of cocaine from Gujarat. Sources said that during the joint operation, the cocaine was recovered from Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat yesterday. The estimated value of the drug in the international market is around five thousand crore rupees.

Earlier, on the 1st of this month, Delhi Police



Special Cell had raided a warehouse in Mahipalpur and seized a consignment of 562 kilogram of cocaine and 40 kilogram hydroponic marijuana. During the investigation in this case, about 208 kilogram of cocaine was also recovered on 10th October from a shop in Delhi’s Ramesh Nagar area. During interrogation, it was revealed that the recovered drugs belonged to a company named Pharma Solution Services and  came from Avkar Drugs Limited, Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
