Over one billion 47 crore seized from different parts of state ahead of Assembly Elections in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, over one billion 47 crore have been seized from different parts of the state since the announcement of the assembly elections. Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar said 31 FIRs have been lodged for violation of model code

of conduct.

A joint operation is underway in bordering areas of UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha to ensure trouble-free elections.
