Over seven crore people took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya

In Prayagraj, more than seven crore devotees have taken holy dip in Sangam so far on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya. The devotees are still taking the holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. After the holy dip, devotees performed rituals and offered prayers at the Ghats. 

The security has been increased after the unfortunate



incident took place at Sangam Ghat. Rapid Action Force has been deployed in the Mela area. The security forces is keeping a close eye and strict vigilance through CCTV and Drones. 

The Maha Kumbh Mela, commenced on 13th January and more than 26 crore devotees have taken holy dip so far.
