Over two lakh 46 thousand candidates recruited by UPSS, SSC in last five years:Dr Jitendra Singh

New Delhi: The government has said that a total of over two lakh 46 thousand candidates have been recruited by the Union Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission during the last five years.

Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh said this in a written reply to a



question in Rajya Sabha today. He said, vacancies are advertised based on the requirements given by the Ministries and Departments, each year. The Minister said, the government has already issued instructions to all Ministries and Departments for timely action to fill up the unfilled posts.
