Overall 65.79 Percent Voter Turnout Recorded In General Elections 2024, Says ECI

Election Commission on Thursday said that overall, 65.79 percent voter turnout was recorded in General Elections 2024 at the polling stations. Lakshadweep recorded the highest voter turnout of 84.16 percent followed by Assam with 81.56 percent and Tripura with 80.93 percent. Bihar recorded the



lowest voter turnout at 56.19 percent followed by Uttar Pradesh at 56.92 percent.

The poll body also said that voter turnout of 63.88 percent was recorded in the seventh and final phase of General Elections 2024.
