Pak forces resort to mortar shelling in Poonch

In Jammu and Kashmir, in yet another incident of ceasefire violation along the LoC, Pakistani forces resorted to mortar shelling in Poonch today.

According to Defence sources, the forces from across the LoC started unprovoked firing and shelling targetting Indian posts and civilian areas



in Kernni sector around midnight.

The troops guarding the borderline retaliated and intermittently exchanges continued till wee hours today. There is no report of any casualty or injury from the Indian side so far.
