Pakistan again violates ceasefire in Poonch district, J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan again violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing on Indian forward posts and civilian areas in border district of Poonch last night. Defence Spokesman told that at around 1900 hrs, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire by using small arms and shelling



with mortars in Degwar sector of Poonch district.

However, Indian troops retaliated and gave a befitting reply to Pak guns. The firing continued for over half an hour. No loss of life or damage was reported from Indian side.
