In the wake of the neutralization of 7 Pakistani rangers by BSF, Pakistani troops last night resorted to firing and shelling at many places along the International Border as well as Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Defence sources, Pakistani troops resorted to firinng and shelling in RS Pura, Samba and Kathua sectors along the International Border and Poonch sector along the Line of Control.Indian troops gave a befitting reply
and exchange of fire at some places lasted up till wee hours today.However there is no report of any loss of life or injury to the Indian side so far.
In the wake of escalated tension some villages very close to border have been evacuated. BSF yesterday lunched an agressive retaliatory offensive after one Jawan of the force was injured critically in sniper fire from Pakistan in Kathua and killed at least 7 Pakistani rangers and a militant.
