The Parliament will resume its normal 11 AM to 6 PM sitting from today.  The decision was taken yesterday in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of both the Houses with members from across 20 political parties attending the meet. The members of both the Houses will be seated in their respective chambers and galleries.

Due to COVID-19, the two Houses had adopted



staggered timings with Rajya Sabha sitting from 9 AM till 2 PM while Lok Sabha functioning from 4 PM till 9 PM.

Yesterday, The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day amid the protest and sloganeering of the Congress MPs over the issue of rise in fuel and LPG prices. Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh said that the matter cannot be discussed.
