State-owned petroleum
companies will hold the nation’s first international conference on cooking gas
in Bhubaneswar from today. The two-day meeting will deliberate on the need for
an LPG-enabled household and use of traditional cooking fuels. Delegates from
over a dozen developing countries, such as Brazil,Ghana, Nigeria, Nepal and Sri
Lanka will
participate in the conference.
Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the conference. Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the event.
