Warangal:  Honorary president of the All Brahmin Officials and Proffessionals Association (ABOPA) and philanthropist Dr Vodithala Vishwanatha Rao (74) passed away at a hospital in Michigan State in the US while undergoing treatment for cancer around 3 pm (IST) on Monday.

Dr Vishwantha Rao, who is the younger brother of Rajya Sabha MP V Lakshmiknatha Rao,



had been associated with several Hindu organizations, and was owner of ‘Ravi Nursing Home’ at Kazipet town.

He was also the founder president of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Warangal chapter, and  also member of several educational societies including the one that runs Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal.
