Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted all Border Security Force (BSF), personnel and their families on their Raising Day. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, BSF exemplifies fortitude and impeccable service to the nation. He said, they protect us from adversity, be it on the borders as well as in times of natural disasters and accidents. Prime Minister said country are proud of BSF.
BSF, the
sentinels of Indian borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh, celebrated its 52nd Anniversary of Raising Day today. The biggest border guarding force in the world, BSF came into existence on the eventful day of 1st December, 1965. BSF is deployed on Indo-Pakistan International Border, Indo-Bangladesh International Border, Line of Control along with Indian Army and in Anti-Naxal Operations.
