Nagpur, April 14: On the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched BHIM-Aadhaar platform for merchants to facilitate digital payments and unveil cash back and referral bonus schemes for the BHIM app at Nagpur on Friday.
While addressing a public meeting in Nagpur, PM Modi said that he is delighted to be here on Ambedkar Jayanti.'
'I am honoured to have got the opportunity to pray at Deekshabhoomi', PM Modi said.
Remembering Dr Bhim Rao



Ambedkar, PM said, 'People of India gave their lives so that India attains freedom. Our freedom is the result of the sacrifices made by several greats.'
At Digi Dhan Mela in Nagpur, PM said, 'We are reaching a time when the mobiles phones will be where financial transactions will take place,' while adding 'benefits of the projects inaugurated today will help our youngsters'.


'The BHIM App is positively impacting several lives across the nation', Modi said.
