Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a three-day visit to Odisha. The Prime Minister reached Bhubaneshwar last evening. He addressed a public meeting near the Biju Patnaik International Airport. He said, today the BJP government at the Center is giving much priority to the pride of Odisha and to Odisha. Mr Modi said, as soon as BJP’s government was formed in Odisha, many big steps have been taken for the mothers and sisters like Subhadra Yojana. He said, this scheme will become the identity of women empowerment. He criticized the opposition parties for stall the pace of progress. He alleged that the opposition parties have no faith in the
Constitution.
Mr Modi said the victory of BJP in the state elections of Haryana, Maharashtra after the party’s resounding victory in Odisha is a reflection of people’s faith in the policies and schemes of his government. Union Ministers Jual Oram, Dharmendra Pradhan, Aswini Baishnaw and many other senior party leaders were present at the meeting.
The Prime also held a roadshow from the Airport to the Raj Bhavan. The Prime Minister is in Bhubaneswar to attend the Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police Conference tomorrow and the day after, besides attending a party meeting at the BJP headquarter at Bhubaneswar.
