PM Modi and Amir of Qatar discuss warmth of bilateral relations in backdrop of Covid-19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani yesterday discussed the warmth of bilateral relations in the backdrop of COVID-19 pandemic. Mr.Modi who  spoke on phone yesterday with the Amir of  Qatar to convey Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the friendly people of Qatar warmly appreciated the personal care taken by  the Amir for ensuring the welfare of the Indian citizens



in Qatar during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Amir appreciated the contributions of the Indian community in Qatar, especially the role being played by Indian health workers.  Prime Minister highlighted the attention being paid by Indian authorities to avoid disruptions in the supply of essential goods from India to Qatar.
