Earlier, in a tweet yesterday, the Prime Minister urged the people of the country to light the Diya on this Diwali as a salute to the Soldiers who fearlessly



protect our nation. He said, words can not do justice to the sense of gratitude we have for our soldiers for their exemplary courage. 

Mr Modi said, we are also grateful to the families of those on the borders. The Prime Minister also posted a video on his twitter handle.
