PM Modi applauds as number of tap water connections reach 13 cr from 3 cr in last 4 years

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the people on number of tap water connection touching 13 crore mark from three crore in just four years. In a social media post, Mr Modi said Jal Jeevan Mission is proving to be a milestone in making clean water available to people and increasing ease of life and public health.

 

In another post, the Prime Minister lauded the efforts being made



through public participation for water conservation and increasing the ground water levels in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Mr Modi also congratulated everyone involved in this noble cause. 

He was responding to a thread of Member of Parliament from Jhansi about revival of the rivers that are going extinct and construction of various Amrit Sarovars in the constituency.
