Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Central Government, for winning the 2020 United Nations Investment Promotion Award.

The award has been given by UNCTAD, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. The Prime Minister said that the award is a testimony to the government’s focus on making India the world’s preferred investment destination and



improving ease of doing business.
  
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency for winning the UNCTAD’s 2020 United Nations Investment Promotion Award. In a tweet today, he said, this remarkable achievement echoes Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tireless efforts and visionary leadership to make India a preferred investment destination with a focus on ease of doing business.
