New Delhi  : Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday.

 Modi took to twitter saying, "I conveyed my best wishes to Shri Deuba for peace, prosperity and progress in Nepal under his leadership".

Deuba, Chairman of Nepali Congress has been elected as 4oth Prime Minister of Nepal. This is the fourth time that Deuba, 72 has become the Prime Minister of the country.

He will take the oath of office on Wednesday.
