PM Modi congratulates Rishi Sunak on being appointed as new UK PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Rishi Sunak on being appointed as new Prime Minister of UK.

In a tweet, Mr Modi said he looks forward to working closely together on global issues and

implementing Roadmap 2030. He also extended special Diwali wishes to the 'living bridge' of UK Indians, as India and UK transform historic ties into a modern partnership.
