PM Modi inaugurates & lays foundation stone of multiple development projects in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the second phase of Ahmedabad Metro from Sector 1 metro station in Gandhinagar yesterday. He took a metro ride from Sector 1 to GIFT city. This extended line will connect Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar and GIFT city.

Later, the PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development



projects worth more than 8,000 crore rupees at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. 

The Prime Minister sanctioned more than 30,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin released the first instalment for these homes and launched the construction of houses under the PMAY Scheme.
