Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi saluted the patience and perseverance of the Chandrayaan 3 mission team in the command centre of ISRO in Bengaluru today.
While greeting and congratulating ISRO scientists in an emotional address, he said, India is on the Moon and the Vikram's Landing point on the Moon will be named as 'Shiv Shakti ' point. It will inspire the coming generations that we are committed to the welfare of humanity, he added.
In a tweet after reaching Bengaluru, he said, ISRO scientists have made India proud with the success of Chandrayaan-3. The Prime Minister added that scientists' dedication and passion are truly the driving forces
behind the nation's achievements in the space sector.
Earlier, on his arrival at the HAL airport, the Prime Minister greeted the people gathered outside with Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan and Jai Vigyan. He told them that he could not resist meeting and greeting the ISRO scientists and has, hence, come directly to Bengaluru after his foreign tour.
He noted that Indians across the world and all those who believe in science, the future and humanity are ecstatic over the success of ISRO to land on the lunar surface. He thanked everyone including the citizens of Bengaluru for celebrating India’s success in space.
