Prime Minister Narendra Modi today virtually launched 3 key projects in Gujarat today. Mr. Modi inaugurated India's biggest cardiac hospital U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center at Civil Hospital campus in Ahmedabad. He also launched ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojna’ to provide electricity during daytime to farmers of Gir-Somnath, Patan and Dahod districts. Prime Minister also launched the Girnar hill ropeway project in Junagadh.
E- launching the Kisan Suryodaya Yojana for farmers in Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi said that this project will bring prosperity in the lives of farmers. He said that initially this project has been implemented in Gir-Somnath, Patan and Dahod district. Under this project, the farmers of 1055 villages of 3 districts will get electricity during
the day time for irrigation. The entire state will be covered under this Kisan Suryoday Yojana in next three years. This will save them from staying up all night and dangers posed by wild animals and insects.
The Prime Minister said that Gujarat is the pioneer state in Solar force ventures. Sunlight based force produced during the day time will currently be provided to farmlands for water system during the day time. He said that a solid establishment for this plan was laid as the progressive work done in the force area in Gujarat in the course of the most recent twenty years.
Prime Minister asserted the need to adopt the mantra of per drop more crop and through this, farmers will be able to arrange micro irrigation by getting electricity during the day.
