Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched two water supply projects worth 552 crore rupees at Modasa town in Aravalli district of Gujarat today. These water supply projects will benefit more than 8 lakhs residents of the hilly district. Addressing a gathering at the venue, the Prime Minister said, they have ensured that farmers across Gujarat get water through various irrigation schemes. He also stressed on educating people in conserving



water.

Mr Modi also laid foundation stone of Modasa Bus port. He said, the government is ensuring that bus stations in Gujarat are comparable to airports in convenience and cleanliness. The Prime Minister also inaugurated newly constructed building of APMC at Modasa and dedicated Modasa Raighadh road to the nation. Later, Mr Modi will head to Gandhinagar to inaugurate Textiles India 2017 Exhibition and Summit.
