PM Modi lays foundation stone for construction of 150 bedded Critical Care Block of RIMS Imphal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid the foundation stone for the construction of the 150 bedded Critical Care Block of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal under the Prime Minister - Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. Mr. Modi virtually laid the foundation stone from Race Course Ground in Rajkot, Gujarat on Monday (26th February 2024).

In connection to the foundation laid ceremony, a formal programme was also held at RIMS Imphal.  Chief Minister N.



Biren Singh, Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs- Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan, MP (Outer) of Manipur- Dr. Lorho S Pfoze, MLAs and senior government officials attended the programme.

The Manipur Chief Minister congratulated the RIMS on the new project and said that the Critical Care Block is very important for providing better healthcare services to the people and preparedness for facing eventuality like COVID 19 pandemic.
