PM Modi lays foundation stone of AIIMS in Bilaspur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stone of the AIIMS Bilaspur and IIIT Una from Luhnu Indoor stadium in Bilaspur town of Himachal Pradesh a short while ago. 

Mr. Modi also dedicated Steel Processing Unit Kandrori town in Kangra district. Prime Minister shortly will address Aabhar Rally organized by state unit of BJP at Luhnu Maidan. 

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Sh. Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot, BJP state in-charge Mangal Pandey, Opposition Leader Prem Kumar Dhumal, State BJP President Satpal Satti and all BJP MP’s from the state were also present on this occasion.

Tight security arrangements have



been made for Prime Minister’s visit.The AIIMS will be constructed in about 205 acre land with one thousand three hundred fifty one crore rupees in four years in Kothipura near Bilaspur city. Similarly, the Indian Institute of Information Technology will be constructed at Saloh in Una district with cost of 128 crore rupees. 

The Steel Processing Unit situated in Kandrori of Kangra district has been set up with nearly 70 crore rupees, will produce one lakh tones TMT bars of 8 to 25 millimeter annually. The Health, Education and Employment sectors are the focus of Union Government. Therefore all these three gifts AIIMS, IIIT and Steel Unit state will definitely fulfill the needs of people of this hill state.
