PM Modi likely to take oath as PM for third term on June 8

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday tendered his resignation to President Droupadi Murmu, who accepted it and asked him to continue till the new government assumes

office.

He is likely to be sworn-in as the Prime Minister for a third consecutive term on June 8 as the NDA scraped past the majority mark to win 292 seats.
