PM Modi offer condolence on Sonia Gandhi’s mother’s death, 'Thoughts with entire family'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered condolences to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on her mother’s death.

In a tweet, he wrote, “Condolences to Sonia Gandhi Ji on the passing away of her mother, Mrs. Paola Maino. May her



soul rest in peace. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the entire family.”

Sonia Gandhi’s mother, Paola Maino, passed away at her home in Italy on Saturday, August 27. The funeral took place on Tuesday, August 30.
