New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tribute to founder of Bharatiya Jan Sangh Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said that hundreds of salutes to the great nationalist thinker and educationist Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. PM Modi said, he dedicated his life to building a strong India. Prime Minister added, Dr. Mukherjee's ideals and principles will continue to inspire every generation of the country.

Home Minister Amit Shah has also paid tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. In a tweet, Mr. Shah said that Dr. Mukherjee taught from his life that nothing is greater than national interest. He



said, we will always be indebted to Dr. Mukherjee for his immense contribution towards the unity and integrity of the country. 

The Home Minister added that he paved the way for India's progress by laying the foundation of the first industrial policy. Mr Shah expressed hope, Dr. Mukherjee's dedication to the nation and foresight will always guide us.

Several union ministers including Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal have also paid tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
