PM Modi pays tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary

The birth anniversary of BJP icon and the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is being celebrated today.

He was born on 6th of July 1901 in Kolkata. He was a prominent Indian politician, barrister and academician and served as the Minister for Industry and Supply in former Prime Minister Jawaharlal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary.

In a tweet, Mr Modi said, his contribution to national unity and integrity will always be remembered. He also posted a video on the life of Dr Mukherjee.
