PM Modi Reviews COVID-19 Situation in Country, Medical Interns to be Deployed in Covid Management Dutiesa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviews the growing need of adequate human resources for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country; decides to allow deployment of Medical Interns in Covid Management duties.

Services of Final Year MBBS students to be utilized for providing services like tele-consultation and monitoring of mild Covid cases. NEET-PG exam postponed for at



least 4 months.

Medical personnel completing 100 days of Covid duties will be given priority in forthcoming regular Government recruitments and will also be given Prime Minister’s Distinguished Covid National Service Samman.

B.Sc./GNM Qualified Nurses to be utilized in full-time Covid nursing duties under the supervision of Senior Doctors and Nurses.
