Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte over the phone yesterday. The two leaders discussed India-Netherlands bilateral ties including strategic partnership on water. They also discussed bilateral cooperation in agriculture, high tech and emerging sectors. The two leaders also exchanged views on India-EU relations and regional and global issues



including convergence and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.

In a statement, Prime Minister's Office said, India-Netherlands ties have gained tremendous momentum in recent years with regular high-level visits and interactions. In the current year, India and the Netherlands are jointly commemorating 75 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties.
