Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the country's dreams are bigger with a focus on creating an ideal business environment for India Inc with reform, integrity and performance. Addressing centenary celebration of Kirloskar Brothers in New Delhi yesterday, the Prime Minister emphasized on the economic goal of making India a 5 trillion dollar economy.
Listing out all the steps taken by the Centre to enhance the ease of doing business in the country, the Prime Minister assured India Inc that country's economy is poised for great things and also assured of all help from the government. Prime said, it is wrong to label the government as anti-industry
because of action against some dishonest and corrupt people.
The Prime Minister highlighted some of the key reforms like the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code which has given a dignified exit route for failed business ventures. He also highlighted the transparency of the Tax System which is reducing human interface.
The Prime Minister appealed to the corporate sector to focus on expansion and highlighted the importance of creating World Class Products. Mr Modi spoke highly of Kirloskar's contribution to Indian Industry and released a Stamp to mark the milestone.
