New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address at a webinar today being organized by Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry and Rural Development Ministry along with other Ministries. The programme is part of the series of webinars announced by the government on the title ‘Leaving No Citizen Behind’ to discuss ways for effective implementation of initiatives announced in Union Budget 2022-23.

The webinar will witness participation of government officials, representatives from various Ministries, institutes, consultants, domain experts, real estate developers and other stakeholders. Different break-out sessions on various domains related to rural and urban development will be hosted. The panelists will share their ideas on improving infrastructure in rural and urban areas.

Six breakout sessions have been scheduled to discuss and brainstorm with experts on how to lay down action points and strategize on Budget implementation roadmap.

Prime Minister Modi will also address a Webinar On Positive Impact Of Union Budget 2022  on Water and Sanitation under ‘Har Ghar Jal. Mr Modi will address the virtual webinar at 10 AM. This series of webinars is a part of the new practice



of discussion and dialogue with various stakeholders associated under the programme.

Jal Shakti Minister  Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Minister of States, Jal Shakti  Prahlad Singh Patel and Bishweswar Tudu along with key stakeholders will be speaking on the occasion. Breakout sessions will be held in which eminent people from the sector, private sector representatives and grassroot stakeholders will share their views on budget and impact created by providing safe drinking water in rural homes.

Apart from the experts, people from Key Resource Centres (KRCs), which are empanelled by the Mission to train the various stakeholders will provide their suggestions on improving the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission. They will also talk about their field experience, training imparted at different levels to senior official, mid-level programme implementers and ground-level workforce.

Ministry of Jal Shakti in a statment said that following the example of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’, 100 districts, one thousand 144 blocks, 66 thousand 647 gram panchayats and over one lakh 37 thousand villages have become ‘Har Ghar Jal’.
