In Chhattisgarh, a total of one thousand one hundred and one candidates are on the fray in second phase of Assembly elections for 72 seats on 20th of this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to address an election rally at Ambikapur, the divisional headquarters of Sarguja.
Congress leaders Raj Babbar and Navjot Singh Sidhu and Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati will also address rallies at various places. Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal will address election meetings this evening simultaneously in the 68 constituencies of Chhattisgarh digitally.
There are about 17
constituencies where the contest will be keenly watched.
In Madhya Pradesh, campaigning has gained momentum for the 230-Assembly seats of the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies in Shahdol and Gwalior today. Star campaigners of various parties are touring the state to canvass support for their candidates. As many as 2907 candidates are in the fray. Voting will be held in Madhya Pradesh on 28 November.
The counting of votes will be taken up in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram on 11th of December.
