PM Modi to address post-budget webinar on Technology-enabled development today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a Post Budget webinar on Technology- enabled development today. The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser along with several scientific ministries and departments of Government of India are organizing this webinar.

It is a part of a series of webinars being organized by the Centre across various sectors to facilitate efficient implementation of announcements made in this year’s Union Budget. The webinar will have thematic breakaway sessions having participants from Ministries and Departments,



academia, and industry.

These sessions will focus on S&T initiatives in prominent technology areas, potential for job creation and boosting employability, technological self-reliance, plan for achieving the vision of 'Amrut Kaal - India @2047', and Suggested course of action while reducing compliance burden Following the breakaway sessions, Ministers and Secretaries of various Departments will discuss action points from the breakaway sessions and chart the way ahead towards implementation.
