Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a gathering of students in New Delhi today on the theme of ‘Young India, New India'.
In a series of tweets, the Prime Minister said, the convention of students is being held to mark the historic address of Swami Vivekananda delivered at Chicago in 1893. Mr Modi said, this year, the country is marking 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address
and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya centenary celebrations.
The Prime Minister said, Swami Vivekananda strongly believed in the power of Yuva Shakti and saw a vital place for youngsters in the realm of nation building. Mr Modi said, inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, the government is working tirelessly towards realising the dreams and aspirations of the youth of the country.
