Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram today on a day-long visit to Kerala. Mr. Modi will dedicate to the nation three important space infrastructure projects worth about 1,800 crore rupees.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day's visit to Kerala will visit the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, VSSC, in Thiruvananthapuram this morning and will inaugurate three important space infrastructure projects giving a major boost to the Prime Minister’s vision of reforming the country’s space sector and to realise its full potential. The projects include the PSLV Integration Facility at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota; the new ‘Semi-cryogenics Integrated Engine
and stage Test facility’ at ISRO Propulsion Complex at Mahendragiri; and ‘Trisonic Wind Tunnel’ at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram.
Prime Minister will also review the progress of the Ganganyaan mission. Later in the day, Mr. Modi will address the public event of the conclusion ceremony of the 'Padayatra' organised by the BJP's State unit in Thiruvananthapuram.
After his Kerala visit, Mr. Modi will proceed to Tamil Nadu for a two-day visit. The Prime Minister will inaugurate dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure projects worth over 17,300 crore rupees in the state.
