Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating and launching various development programmes during his two days visit to Bengaluru and Mysuru from today. After arriving in Bengaluru at noon today the Prime Minister will visit the prestigious Indian Institute of Science. He will inaugurate the Brain Cell Research Centre established at a cost of 450 crore rupees donated by Kris Gopalakrishnan, the co-founder of Infosys. Mr.Modi will also lay the foundation stone for an 850 bed Bagchi-Parthasarathy Research hospital at IISc being funded by MindTree IT company.
He will
address a public gathering at Kommaghatta near Kengeri where he will inaugurate various development projects.
In the evening he will unveil the statue of Babsaheb Ambedkar at the BR Ambedkar school of Economics campus and officially dedicate the higher education institution to the nation. Following this, the Prime Minister will proceed to Mysuru to address a public gathering at Maharaja College Grounds. On June 21st Mr. Modi will take part in the International Day of Yoga to be held in front of the iconic Mysuru Palace.
