PM Modi to lay foundation stone of National Centre for Aging in New Delhi today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the National Centre for Aging at AIIMS in New Delhi today.This 200 general ward beds centre will provide the older population with Multi-Speciality healthcare. 

Prime Minister will also inaugurate the 555 bed Super Speciality Block in Safdarjung Hospital. 

He will dedicate the 500 bedded New Emergency Block in Safdarjung and 300 bedded Power Grid Vishram Sadan in AIIMS. Mr Modi will also inaugurate the Connection Motorable



Tunnel between AIIMS, Ansari Nagar and Trauma Centre. 

The tunnel will enable quick transfer of critical patients from the hospital to the trauma centre from 30 minutes to just five minutes.The 614-metre-long tunnel, work for which started in 2012, cost 40 crore rupees and is the first such project to be implemented in the country.
