Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Bihar. According to Deputy Chief Minister of the state Sushil Kumar Modi said the Prime Minister has assured to visit the state when he requested him to take stock of the devastating flood.
The Deputy Chief Minister briefed PM about flood situation during yesterday night meeting with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP ruled
states.Meanwhile the flood situation is still grim in the northern parts of the state. Over one crore 40 lakh people are reeling under the flood. 323 people have so far died in flood related incidents. Over Two hundred animals have also been killed.
Over 7 lakh 30 thousand people have been evacuated from the flood affected areas. Over 4 lakh 25 thousand people are taking shelter in relief camps.
