PM Modi to virtually participate in 'Griha Pravesham' of 4.51 lakh PMAY beneficiaries in Madhya Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually participate in Griha Pravesham of four lakh 51 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin at Satna in Madhya Pradesh today. The Prime Minister will address the gathering on this occasion.

Around 29 lakh houses have been completed in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of more than 35 thousand crore rupees under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin. About 38 lakh houses have been sanctioned in Madhya Pradesh so far. It has been a constant endeavour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide a house having all basic amenities to each citizen.

48 lakh houses have been sanctioned in Madhya Pradesh so far under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural.



Out of these, 29 lakh houses have been completed. The Government has spent more than 35 thousand crores on the construction of these houses. Thousands of people like Ram Kishore and Shalini Vishwakarma are very happy to get their pucca house under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the leading states in the country in the construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas yojana. These 4 lakh 51 thousand houses have been completed within the last 6 months.

Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana are also being provided benefits of other schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, and Ayushman card in the state.
