Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on the 17th of this month on his birthday. Mr. Modi will launch the relocation project of cheetahs at Kuno National Park in Sheopur district. Prime Minister will also address more than one lakh, women of self-help groups, at Karahal in Sheopur district.
"Women from self-help groups are very eager to talk to the Prime Minister and listen to his address. Kalia Bai, who is earning 10 to 12 lakh rupees annually through her group from fish farming in Sheopur district, wants to
meet the Prime Minister and seek further guidance.
Sunita Adivasi of Goras village in Sheopur district has now become financially capable through the welfare schemes of the central government.
There are more than 5 thousand self-help groups in Sheopur district and more than 70 thousand women are associated with them. These women hope that the visit of Prime Minister Modi will give a new identity to their work in the country as well as abroad.
