Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Samba district in Jammu on April 24, on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas.

Mr. Modi will address the nation on the occasion of 'Panchayati Raj Diwas'.

The administration has made elaborate arrangements at border village Palli in Samba district, where the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public gathering.

This is



the first visit of the Prime Minister to the Union Territory of J&K since the abrogation of Article 370. He is also scheduled to participate in ground-breaking ceremony of multi-crore industrial projects and will also interact with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), launch industrial investments, and inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various development projects.
