Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today at 8 P.M., during which he will talk about issues relating to COVID-19 and the efforts to combat it.
As per the latest data available with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of active COVID-19 cases across India stands at 134. In all, there were 151 cases of the Corona virus in the country including 126 Indians and 25 foreign nationals. Out of this, 14 people have been discharged after
being cured of Corona virus and three patients have died. The total number of passengers screened at various airports across the country is 13,93,301.
In the wake of growing COVID-19 cases in the country, the Health and Family Welfare Ministry has issued an advisory for the people. It focuses on social distancing, hand sanitation and restriction of mass gatherings with a view to contain the spread of Novel Corona virus.
